Privacy Policy

By default, Revvo keeps tests, trips, GPS, OBD2 and sensor data on the device. The optional leaderboard sends only the required fields to the public CloudKit database. TelemetryDeck receives usage events without coordinates, results, vehicle data or real identity. Revvo has no ads and does not track you across apps or websites; purchases are processed by Apple.

Your data, on your device

Revvo stores complete test and trip history, GPS coordinates, OBD2 and sensor readings, garage data and preferences locally. This data is not sent to TelemetryDeck or the leaderboard, except for the fields listed below when you choose to publish a result.

Device permissions

Revvo may request precise location, motion sensor and Bluetooth access to measure speed, acceleration, trips and OBD2 data. Coordinates and route maps are not sent to TelemetryDeck or the leaderboard. To reconstruct a section after a tunnel or GPS outage, its entry and exit points may be sent to Apple MapKit; a derived road-grade value may be included in a result you publish. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings.

iCloud, trial and leaderboard

The Pro trial start date is synchronized through Apple iCloud key-value storage to prevent the trial being reused on another device. If you publish to the leaderboard, Revvo sends the chosen username, vehicle data and a technical vehicle identifier, category, times, speed, splits, grade, test date and technical author/installation identifiers needed to associate, update and delete the entry to the public CloudKit database. Publishing is optional and the entry remains visible to other users until you delete it.

Purchases and trial

Revvo Pro is processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive card numbers, billing details or other payment data. To measure the conversion funnel, TelemetryDeck receives technical events indicating that a purchase was started, completed, failed or restored and that a trial started or expired, without the amount, payment method or real identity.

Analytics without tracking or ads

We use TelemetryDeck GmbH to understand which features are used and improve the app. It receives a per-installation technical identifier transformed before transmission, the event name, an approximate time, app and operating-system versions, device type and limited parameters such as test mode/range or paywall context. We do not send GPS coordinates, routes, measured results, vehicle data, username, email or payment data. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses. There are no ads, advertising identifiers or tracking across apps or websites.

Services and data sharing

Service providers that may receive app data are Apple, for iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit and MapKit, and TelemetryDeck, for the analytics described above. The support page also uses Vercel and Resend as described below. We do not sell or rent data and do not use it for advertising. Cards or snapshots shared through iOS are sent only to the destination you choose.

Feedback and support

When you open the feedback page, Revvo includes the app version/build, iOS version, device model and preferred language in the address; the page displays these diagnostics. The website is hosted on Vercel. If you submit the form, the contact details and message you enter, together with the diagnostics, are processed by a Vercel function and delivered by email through Resend so we can reply. Submission is optional and this data is used only for support.

Children

Revvo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

Your rights and control

You can delete local data inside the app or by removing the application, and you can delete your leaderboard entries in Revvo. TelemetryDeck events contain no name or email and do not allow us to identify you. For any privacy-related request, use the contact details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. The latest version is always available on this page.
